The New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects is accepting nominations for four open seats on the Executive Committee:  President-Elect, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice-President, and Secretary.  As you know, ASLA is the premier organization for advocating pertinent government issues and promoting public awareness of the profession.  The New Jersey chapter is over 50 years old and has been instrumental in obtaining licensure for landscape architects in our state.  Our annual meeting, one of the largest, most respected state conferences in the country, provides necessary CEUs for maintaining your license.  Year-round, we organize special events and projects to promote the profession.  Landscape architecture is a vital service for the public and the earth itself.  By volunteering to serve as an executive board member, you help the profession advance its goals and participate in an extremely rewarding experience.  Develop leadership skills, learn about association governance, and interact with LAs throughout the state and the nation.  It is a great way to meet and work with your peers – and have a lot of fun at the same time.
