LARE Review Course

Get Ready to Ace the LARE!

The New York Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects is hosting this weekend long LARE review session on January 26-27 at the Stantec Office located at 475 Fifth Ave in Midtown Manhattan. Landscape architects who have recently passed the LARE teach this two-day prep course. They will review material and practice problems, including the new test format, and share with you the latest in study techniques, test-taking tips, and an understanding of the general content of each section. Each instructor prepares his or her own handouts to accompany their custom presentation covering the items listed previously. At the end of each presentation you will complete practice problems for a final review and Question / Answer period.

All ASLA-NY LARE Review instructors offer recent, first-hand experience with taking and passing the relevant LARE sections. On Saturday, the review begins with an overview of the new test format and gaining licensure in New York and neighboring states. The remaining Saturday sessions focus on how to prepare for Sections 1 (Project and Construction Management) and Section 2 (Inventory and Analysis). The Sunday session covers Section 3 (Design) and Section 4 (Grading, Drainage and Construction Documentation). Participants may register for the entire course (both Saturday and Sunday) or for either day. Both days start off with a hearty continental breakfast included in the registration fee. Lunch is on your own.
