Project Description
The Delaware River Trail project began as a comprehensive Master Plan and Feasibility Study in 2011 for a multi-use Greenway trail along the Delaware River in Center City Philadelphia. As of 2022, the majority of the trail has been constructed, inclusive of a 2.5-mile portion adjacent to busy Columbus Boulevard, and two segments in South Philadelphia and in Penn Treaty Park, in North Philadelphia, both at the river’s edge.
