Project Description
The Landscape Architect transformed a decades-old, barren, and weathered ‘concrete desert’ into a welcoming public open space in the heart of downtown. Flanked by high-rise, mixed-use office, hotel and retail development, and sitting atop five floors of structured parking, the 1.5-acre green roof streetscape Plaza is the new showpiece for Morristown. In addition to the daily use of HQ Plaza by the general public, farmers markets, movie nights, crafts shows, as well as weddings, holiday gatherings and concerts will find a home in this new urban oasis.
