Project Description
The Freshkills landscape has endured many different ecosystems for the last 100 years. From freshwater marshes, to landfill operations, to now park development. This design is a supplement to the Freshkills Park master plan, with the development of a process that results in a more biodiverse ecosystem at the park through interactive research plots, while engaging the community in living laboratories and citizen science.
