Project Description
The Lincoln School is located on a 1.5 acre lot in the West Ward of Newark, New Jersey. The school serves approximately 450 students from Pre-K through 8th grade. This project was an incremental design charrette that spanned 10 weeks with a group of students. Throughout the collaborative sessions, the group learned various aspect of landscape architecture. The design team’s responsibilities included facilitating community engagement sessions with the students and stakeholders and co-creating the design for the new playground.
