Project Description
Hilltop Colonial is a new colonial revival home and garden set within mature oaks on a 1.35 acre steeply sloping site in Summit, New Jersey. A series of outdoor garden rooms organized on two axes and framed by stone walls create the level plinth for the structures and provides the necessary framework for the garden rooms. The result is a bespoke home and garden that seamlessly harmonizes with the surrounding neighborhood, preserves and enhances the surrounding mature tree canopy, while allowing all stormwater runoff to infiltrate naturally on the property.
